Parents can contact the nearest registry office, regardless of their place of residence, where they will recieve all necessary documents for the child.
Both parents should come to registry office and bring following documents:
identity cards
current accounts cards
-foreign citizens: a copy of the travel document (proof of citizenship), birth certificate, not older than 3 months (if mother is not married) or marriage certificate, not older than 3 months.
-Deadline for registering a child in the birth registry is 30 days from the child's birth.
Throught the e-Newborn service, parents register their child's birth online from the comfort of their home, using electronic identity card and smart cards reader.
Records and documents are delivered to them through personal user mailbox: electronic record from the birth register and citizenship records, certificate of residence, confirmation of application to HZZO and tax benefits.
Parents can automatically request one-time financial compensation from HZZO, as well as financal support from their city or municipality.
This additional service makes the proces much easier for parents, and instead of collecting documentation and physically delivering it to the city or municipality, from now on, in just few clicks, they can submit the request by themselves.
